My family and I stayed here while we were in Venice on May 27-29, 2019. The front desk people ( all of them) were very helpful. The Happy Hour and bartender were great. Try the Doge Royale. Yum. Perfectly located. My parents stayed in Room 301 and my son and I stayed in Room 303. Neither had a canal view if you're looking for that. Room 303 was spacious, room 301 was not as large but fine for a short stay with an added bonus of a mirrored ceiling ( hence the funky part of my review). It was funny because my 70 year old parents were staying it. Hotel is only about 25 rooms. Very clean.

First of all, Venice is fantastic. This hotel had the wonderful luxury of its own small jetty (as quite a few do) and it was within easy walking distance of St Mark’s square. The staff were very friendly and helpful, it had a very pleasant courtyard and bar where you could relax. I recommend this hotel to anyone who wants to enjoy all that Venice has to offer.

We stayed in the King bedroom with sauna. The place is exceptional, located close to St Mark"s Square. The room was beautiful, spacious and tastefully decorated. I would not hesitate to stay at this hotel again. The reception staff were courteous and helpful, breakfast was tasty. We stayed for two nights and would have been happy to stay in such comfort for another week.

Glad we stayed at this hotel and got the canal view room. Had to pinch yourself opening up the doors from the room and standing out on the balcony as boats whizzed by and people dined nearby. Was very expensive but worth it. Hotel is also in a great location only a few minutes walk to Piazza San Marco.

Very ordinary old hotel, Reception is reasonably modern. The reception staff are all lovely and very obliging. The room we are staying in, is very much in need of maintenance. The shower screen is broken, and no air conditioning at all in the room. The bath/shower is difficult to get into, without any grab rails. The whole room is very hot and stuffy. The windows do open, but no way to keep them open, unless you block them open with a piece of luggage. Not that you would want to leave them open too long as the mosquitoes are everywhere, being right on a canal. The mattress is very firm.
On the plus side it’s only 5 minutes walk from St Marks Square. Gondoliers , and water taxis at your front door should you require one. Lots of nice little eating places very close to the hotel, and lots more within walking distance. Liassidi Hotel does serve a very nice breakfast.
