“Beautiful Hotel”
Reviewed February 25, 2014

Stayed 2 nights at Liassidi Palace and didn't want to leave. Arriving by private water taxi was the way to go, quite expensive though. The Hotel was beautiful from the moment we arrived, we were upgraded to a very spacious loft room with a large clean modern bathroom. Breakfast was served daily and was wonderful. Hotel was close to all the attractions and the staff was very helpful with anything that we needed. In the evenings the would open a Bar in the patio area of the hotel, very cheap drinks and a wonderful setting. Would recommend to anyone looking for a wonderful hotel in Venice

I stayed there for 2 nights with my husband and it was the nicest hotel we've ever stayed at. We found the staff to be be helpful with restaurant recommendations and helping us navigate our way around. We had a very early flight home and they were able to provide us various ways to get to the airport. It was very clean, spacious and looked brand. After staying at a few different hotels throughout Italy we were most impressed by the shower!

We returned yesterday from a 2 night stay at the beautiful Liassidi Palace. The hotel upgraded us to a 2 room suite for which we are very thankful. The suite was on the 4th floor with excellent views of the canal below. All staff were very friendly and helpful we really couldn't fault our stay. As a travel agent I will be recommending this hotel to my clients.

We stayed at this hotel for 3 nights and couldn't fault it.

When we arrived we were upgraded to a fantastic room on the 4th floor.
The only annoying thing was the joining door that separated the room next door. We could hear their tv all night, their toilet flush and then chatting!

Our room was huge, a fantastic new shower and large tv! Plenty of wardrobe space etc!

Breakfast was fine. A good selection of foods! The view was amazing!!!!!

The hotel is so central. You can literally walk anywhere within 5 mins that's on your 'to do list' why visiting Venice!

Overall a great stay. I'd recommend this hotel to anyone!

We took the Alilaguna water bus from the airport - easy. Just a few minutes walk either end and it's easy and cheaper to book online. The hotel lives up to most of the reviews here - comfortable, luxurious, friendly and great location. Having visited out of the high season, it was also very good value. There are several, reasonably priced restaurants nearby and we never had a poor meal in 4 nights stay.
Recommended bar: Bacaro Jazz near to the Riolto. Friendly, quirky bar with happy hour cocktails between 4 and 6.

What an incredibly beautiful hotel! From the moment we arrived, the staff were genuinely lovely and helpful and made us feel extremely comfortable. They assisted us with the need-to-know information about Venice and gave us some ideas for places we could eat (which turned out to be an amazing experience). Hotel is quite far from the train station and grand canal, however, this is not a complaint! Although it was a little difficult getting our bags to the hotel, the grand canal was not difficult to walk to (maybe 10 minutes) and we were certainly pleased when Venice flooded and our hotel was minimally effected by it! Room was beyond expected and absolutely spotless. We did get placed on the 1st floor and unfortunately had a window right near reception, which meant we usually heard guests arriving throughout the night, but the hotel was so beautiful in itself, that we did not bother to let this change our views. It did quiet down quite quickly. Breakfast was okay and the view of out of the dining room window was beautiful. The hotel even assisted us with a water taxi back to the train station after we checked out, as we had difficulty getting to the water bus due to the flooding. Thank you for a great stay.

After an exciting water taxi ride to the front door, the first thing I noticed was the beautiful chandelier hanging over the door as we stepped into the lobby
We were greeted warmly by the staff at the front desk. One of the rooms was not quite ready, but they showed us into the adjoining room so we could rest from our journey.
The room was nice - not much of a view though, and the bathroom was wonderful!
Overall our stay was made easy by the the friendly and helpful staff.
