Perfect

We stayed at the Duodo Palace hotel for just two nights and everything was absolutely perfect. The staff were helpful in assisting with water taxis and suggestions for places to go and things to do. While the 3rd floor location was a bit challenging after walking countless miles in Venice, the room was spacious, comfortable and quiet. We thoroughly enjoyed the more than ample breakfast. The location is so close to St. Marks square and is convenient, yet quiet. We will definitely return.

Excellent Hotel

From the moment we contacted the hotel and throughout our stay they could not have been better. This is a centrally situated hotel with excellent decor, our room was spacious and bed very comfortable. I would definitely stay there again.

If you want impudent waitress and your complaint to go unanswered, this is the place to go

Our complaint about an altercation with a waitress on the last morning of our stay has gone unanswered by managment. Not the type of service I would expect from a 4 star hotel

There's lots of better hotels to stay in, in Venice. My husband and I and our friends certainly won't be going back to this one

Enjoyable stay

The Duodo is conveniently located near the center of Venice ..the staff is helpful, respective, and knowledgable .
While our rooms were not large by American standards, they were quite adequate and maintained extremely well.
Only wish would have been for some form of outdoor sitting or lounge area like most other Venice venues.

Interesting hotrl

We stayed here for two nights. Hotel is well maintained however rooms are on dark side. Bar / lounge is far too small for number of guests. Staff friendly and helpful. Need to check your water taxi goes to hotel entrance as not all do. Area around very congested with gondola's so allow plenty of time to get to airport.
