Just so relaxing to wander through Cannareggio, to stroll through the Campo do Mori and look at the statues of the Mori, pass Tintoretto's house - then after walking further up relaxing on a bench at the campo St. Alvise
The Church of the Madonna dell ' Orto is worth a visit -

Great place to still see a ton of things, but an actual little town with nice shops and inexpensive food. So much better then San Marco.

Cannaregio is one of six sestieris in Venice. It contains interesting architecturally and crowded streets, always lively.

This is a quieter district of Venice, but well worth taking a walk to simply for its atmosphere. Historically it contains the Ghetto area, interesting architecturally and socially. Coffee and snacks are priced for the locals rather than tourists, so better value! Beautiful, wider canals with walkways to stroll down.

Cannaregio is great, a true breath of life in contrast to the Disneyland-like San Marco area. Small streets, comfy quais, restaurants with local elderly gossip on their terazza, daily life on the move, laundry hanging from the ropes beween buildings and the canals mostly busy with product-moving logistics rather than fancy looking gondalieris with their camera-clicking tourists. Lovely, authentic, Italian.
