Fewer tourists, wonderful boutiques and shops, quaint little restaurants and bars, lovely churches, the Jewish Ghetto, amazing food, lovely areas to walk by the canal... what's not to love. it is authentic Venice...at its best. Don't miss it.

Want to get away from the touristy part of the city...head here and have a meal at one of the on-street cafes - you won't forget it!
These quieter canals are full of interesting architecture, scenic vistas, and more intimate dining & drinking.

Because this is a much quieter area the walk along the canal is not so crowded and at the end you can sit and look out at the water.
If you go into the crowded shopping area there are different types of shops and it is fun to just wander along looking at them. I really like this area

A quieter part of Venice, this section includes The Ghetto - the first ghetto in Europe, which still has a small Jewish community. The museum is definitely worth a visit. There are also busy neighborhoods with restaurants and shops.

Quiet and the first Jewish Ghetto in Europe and still has that atmosphere. Families and folk who live in Venice are here. A place to relax and truly enjoy Venice. The opposite of St. Marc's and the Rialto area.
