The Palazzo Priuli was decent enough. The location is excellent, and the rooms were very nice. The staff was not particularly friendly, or helpful about the city; especially for these prices. I was satisfied, but I felt that I had overpaid by a significant amount; perhaps that is the norm in Venice?

The wife has wanted to go to Venice for years - she wanted something close to St Mark's Square and something with real charachter. The hotel did not dissapoint on either count. The staff were outstanding and helped us make this a holiday to remember. We would go back without question.

Room Tip: Everything is quiet in Venice - no cars!!! Cant comment if any other rooms would be distrubed by Go...

Fabulous hotel with a beautiful canal view. The room was clean, spacious, and had everything. Close proximity to some fabulous restaurants & shopping.Great breakfest also. We would definitly return and highly recommend it.

Room Tip: Make sure you have a map to your hotel. Our water taxi didn't know where it was.

A group of four of us had four very enjoyable nights there in early September to go to the opera and celebrate a golden wedding. The hotel is a splendid reminder of Venice's past glories and was in the main very comfortable, well located and welcoming . The room was comfortable (we had a canal view) though somewhat dark. Oddly there was good wardrobe space but there were no drawers for clothes. For a short stay it did not really matter but it might if you were there longer. Some people might find the bed hard though I at least quite liked it. The staff were very helpful and breakfast was well organized (although at certain times the breakfast room got very full and the tables were mostly for pairs rather than larger groups). We were in Venice at a busy time and I felt that some small things -refilling the water in the minibar and checking to see that the complimentary drinks and snacks upstairs were still there slipped. But this is a very stylish hotel and I would certainly stay there again with pleasure.

Room Tip: A canal view is delightful but I do not know how many rooms look out on the canal.

The hotel is very nice, is located close to San Marco's Square and close to a shopping area with high-end shops. Hotel staff was very friendly, however the only thing not very good was that the hotel was kind of divided in various buildings. The front desk was located in one building, some rooms in another and the main dining room in another. Not a complain, but do not expect to find everything at hand like in a regular hotel. Spacious rooms with a medieval touch!

We are convinced that we had the best room in the place--of course, we didn't see any others, but...our views were fabulous. The room was clean, spacious, and had everything we needed and more--who would ever turn on the TV? We had a room on the corner, top floor, with views in three directions down two different canals. There was activity going on down on the canals--restaurants and brides/grooms taking photos. The distance from the St. Mark's stop on the water taxi was not far at all. We only had to cross one small bridge with our luggage. The area is fairly quiet as it is not right on the Square or the Rialto Bridge area. Breakfast was included and actually very good. We would definitly stay here again and highly recommend it.

Room Tip: If room 502 is available--snag it!! Take a look at my photos from the room!

The breakfast was delicious, the hotel is very antique looking but absolutely gorgeous .. The rooms are spacious with high floor ceilings and the view from our room was breathtaking. Our bathroom was updated and the hotel offered free wifi which came in handy . I highly recommend this place if you are looking for something a little more authentic .. the staff was friendly and professional.
