We were fortunate to visit Ca d'Oro on the weekend when admission to museums was free. Otherwise, we might have felt it wasn't worth the price. Although there are notable pieces of art, it's the building itself that makes the visit worthwhile. It's beautiful enough when passing by on the canal, but even more beautiful from inside, looking out through the designs on the balconies. From the balconies one has a lovely view of the Grand Canal. Given the wealth of attractions in Venice, this one isn't worth the time unless you have several days in Venice and are now starting in on the 2nd and 3rd tier of attractions.
