Staff very friendly, traditional Venetian food, excellent service, not cheap, quite pricey, but worth it. Staff spoke very good English, made to feel very welcome.

Four of us went to dinner at Ca' Leon. It is a very nice restaurant. Very clean and well decorated. The service was excellent. We had a variety of dishes including rissoto, razor clams and scallops, and pasta with sea food. The food was all very good to excellent, depending on the dish. We had the house red wine, which was also very good. Overall, this is a very good restaurant and is also very nicely laid out and decorated. It is however quite expensive. First, 12% service is added on top of the cover charge. Prices for individual dishes are also high, as is the house wine. The total meal was about 65 - 75% more expensive than comparable meals at other Venice restaurants, even after adding a good tip.

All in all, this a very nice restaurant with very good food. I would save it for special occasions because of the price.

I'm writing this review whilst still here in Venice to warn any would be victims- so this is realtime folks!

Looking at its location and decor you'd certainly have this down as a very charming and stylish place to wine n dine your dearest- well that's what I thought anyway!

From the offset the greeting and early service was pleasant until... We notified the waiter that our main course were cold, both traditional pasta dishes. He duly apologised but then made us wait nearly 20 minutes for a reheat. When both dishes returned they looked considerably smaller. My wife's early 5 layer lasagne was now a shrivelled little 3 layer mess! So being standard Brits we just eat up and carried on without further fuss.

Upon finishing up we asked for the bill immediately, this again in a very quiet restaurant around 11pm took another... Another 15mins passed... We grew inpatient and simply asked for it again at the bar, coats in hand.

For 2 glasses of house red wine, 2 waters, 1 antipasti (ham & rocket), 1 lasagne and 1 ricotta pasta and 10% service charge it came to a jaw dropping €91.00!! We were amazed- we asked for a discount for the cold food but the owner was having none of it! Very rude, and completely unpleasant to a genuine complaint. We eventually skipped the 10% service charge and walked out.

I know Venice is expensive but compared to the other restaurant's and cafés we've visited in the meantime this one is worth avoiding for sure!

A little restaurant with modern decor and excellent food and wine. Fresh fish and excellent pasta.
Located near the piazza la Roma past the park and over first bridge take. A left about 500 yards worth the effort to find.

6 of us had a really great birthday celebration dinner and we were rapt in the food. Grilled calamari was tender and delicious. The Tiramisu was the best I have ever had, the profiteroles melted in the mouth. Can highly recommend this restaurant. For a little surprise, check out the toilets!! Never seen tiling quite like this.
