I read the review about small room, dirty bathroom, and lack of electricity outlet and was prepared for the worst. But it turned out totally opposite. We booked, and paid, for 3 but got a big room which was apparently prepared for 4. The room and bathroom was big and clean. There are electricity outlets at almost every corner of the room. I could say it's the most number of outlets we have seen in all hotels we have stayed. The staffs were nice. There's this old staff who was helping us carrying our luggage upstairs despite our protest.
The hotel is in a very good location, and very easy to locate, considering the nature of Venice's labyrinth of small alleys.

This was a basic hotel witha big enough room for three. The bathroom was very old and dingy. It was a value price for Venice and we could walk anywhere. The breakfast was bread and coffee and juice. Not bad.

This hotel is in a great location, close to St. Marks and Rialto bridge. The hotel staff was not very friendly at check in. There is a 2am "curfew" as the hotel closes at that time. At check out they were able to hold our bags until the late evening. The sheets were clean, However the bathroom was very dirty and the shower was moldy with soap scum. Just an average hotel... if you are passing by.

..needs updating. In the room I had the en suite shower was squeezed into a tiny closet along with toilet and wash basin, when using the shower everything got soaked and the floor turned into a mini lake! Unfortunately the water did not reside for at least five minutes, and with the only plug in the room was next to the basin, seemed pretty dangerous to me..

The room it self though was spacious, with two single beds pushed together to make one double. Even though the location is great, I don't think the rooms reflect the price, and more modern hotels are available for a similar price in the same area. Oh, and no free WiFi - this should come as standard in all hotels.

If slightly cheaper and the shower problem got sorted out, then maybe..

Room Tip: Get one with a decent and safe shower..

Asked for a ground floor room which turned out to be an impossibility as the place is above a ground floor restaurant. Promised air conditioning (vital in July) turned out none of the rooms have it. On the plus side, the staff were pleasant and the location perfect, close to the main sights but just far enough off the main thoroughfares.

We stayed at this hotel in June 2011, 4 of us in a quad room. Was clean and comfortable and a typical European style hotel! We had a stunning view from the room on one of the quite canals where some locals passed in their little boats..rooms had fan and bathroom, but there is some where you dont get your own bathroom. Hotel dont have lift, so you carry your bags up the stairs. (quite steep! but the owner / manager did came to help us carry our bags). Breakfast is continental, and nice. Different breads and spreads etc. EXCELLENT LOCATION! Walking distance to St Mark Square, Rialto Bridge and more. Close to lots of Restaurants. Enjoyed our stay here.

Room Tip: Ask for canal facing with your own bathroom?

I booked a room to visit Venice with my parents for 2 nights. I got an online confirmation saying that I had a triple room reserved. I even called the hotel befor leaving Rome and confirmed that they would have a room for me. After a 6 hour train ride with my parents both over 60 years and temperatures 90+. We get to the hotel only to find out that they had given my room away! The lady at the reception desk was not helpfull. I asked if she could help finding a room her reply was that that was not her job or her problem. Spend the extra money and save yourself the trouble of having to find a room last minute.
