I was looking for a relatively inexpensive hotel within the main part of Venice. I also combined the hotel with a flight with British Airways.
The staff at the hotel were excellent. The Receptionist spoke excellent English although some of the other staff do not.
The hotel is located not far from St Mark's Square but is not easy to find. I stayed for 4 days and never found it first time on each day - be sure you know where it is.
The hotel is relatively small. There is not a lift and I was on the top (4th) floor and there are quite a few stairs.
My room was clean and well maintained. It had a double bed (I travelled on my own) and a TV. It might have been a little 'cosy' for two people. The bathroom is compact but not a great deal of room to move about in it.
Breakfast was a continental one and was excellent and plenty.
The hotel was good value for money and the positive comments made by others about is locality (near lots of shops and restaurants) are spot on.
