We arrived in venice last after travelling a few cities in Italy. This is one hotel we liked after all the hotels in Italy for the same value. The hotel rooms are full of character with bright red theme going on inside the room. It made us feel that we have arrived in THE Venice. The rooms and bathroom were small but how much time do u spend in the hotel while on vacation!! What I liked best is the service of the front desk. They were extremely friendly. We checked in and out at odd hours - the staff was very patient and gave us good information and even helped us with luggage till our room. When we checked out at early hours in the morning, we were offered good coffee and fresh croissants and whatever was ready for breakfast - technically their buffet started at 8AM. All this was done voluntarily.
This place is close to St Marks square - but comfortably far to stay away from the heavy crowd at St Marks/Rialto. This is very close to a lively square called San Margarita - some very nice resturants and sports bar at this square. This place is also easily reachable after 12AM with the night rider bus (Stop: Accademia).
