We were very disappointed and here is a list of our complaints.

Small dirty room.

Dirty sheets.

Shower that was cold on one of the days - the staff shrugged their shoulders when we explained this to them.

No staff on the desk one evening for 10 minutes, we had to go round and collect our key ourselves.

The wifi stopped working, when I told the staff, his response was 'yes it is'. Then proceeded a 15 minute demonstration until the staff accepted that the Wifi was broken.

Firstly, there are NO elevators, just stairs! So those with massive suitcases, have to lug them up the stairs by yourself, as they don't even offer to help you carry them up. They don't give you any information on what to see in Venice. The wifi is 3 euro a day per person! What the hell!? The water takes around 10 minutes to get warm, and even then it's not actually hot. The shower water isn't strong, it practically drizzles out. Pillows are FLAT. May aswell not even have a pillow. Service is very poor. They don't communicate well with you at all, and if you ask a question they don't explain. The roof on 3rd floor is so low, you constantly hit your head on it. I won't bother saying the good, because the bad far outweighs it. Very disappointing hotel :(

I was quite skeptical when I book a double room for only 60 euros a night But what a surprise! The hotel is far enough from the most dense tourist neighborhoods and the area is quiet, but it's quite close to reach everything by feet (anyway, a vaporetti stop is just 2 steps from the hotel). Rooms are small, like every room in Venice, but they still have their charm with its brocade walls and Murano lamps. You have the feeling of being at one of these venetian palaces. Even the breakfast was more than expected, with excellent croissants. Don't expect luxury, this will cost you 10 times more if you stay at the Danieli, Bauer or Cipriani. There are many pensions in Venice more expensive and without any style, instead this is a jewel for what you pay.

Room Tip: Ask for a view room, either you get over the channel or over the garden.

I stayed at the hotel for 3 nights. The first thing we noticed was how unfriendly the reception staff were. They just gave us our key and that was that, no directions to our room or explanation about when and where breakfast would be.
I read reviews about lots of stairs and no lift and I was very grateful that our room was on the first floor as I am pregnant and didn't fancy carrying my luggage up too many stairs.
We stayed in a twin room and it was clean and big enough. Would have been nice to have a kettle though! We were lucky to have a balcony overlooking the canal, I don't think all rooms had this. The maids were very friendly whenever we saw them and always said hello. Only one pillow was provided and when they noticed we had both folded our pillows over to make them higher they gave us extras.
The weather was a bit cold being November and we had to keep the heating on all night to stay warm, the marble floors weren't very cosy.
Breakfast was very basic and not particularly tasty however it was edible and enough to start you off for the day! I agree with previous comments about the orange juice being far too watered down.
As for the location, it was great as far as we were concerned. It was in a quiet area so not noisy at night. If you wished to travel by water bus there was a stop right outside but we walked everywhere. It was quite a way but we actually walked to st marks square and back twice during our stay.
I wouldn't stay there again if I returned but it certainly didn't ruin my holiday.

Loved Venice but the staff at the front desk was very cold and I felt did not like Americans. The girl at the front desk had a real attitude, not helpful about remote not working, couldn't find the adapter for the
electical outlet, etc. The hotel is located in a quiet area but within walking distance to a very busy street loaded with shops and restaurants. Breakfast was ok but the juice was really orange colorrf water. The rooms were very ornately decorated in typical Venetian style and immaculate. My father is 80 and they gave him a room on the top floor, no elevator, which was no bigger than a closet but did have a huge patio. Would not stay here again.

Check in time of 14.00 was later than expected but allowed to leave luggage whilst we went out. Lack of tea/coffee in room was disappointing. Rooms clean and very classic design with a brilliant view. Breakfast was limited but tasty. I would stay there if the price is competitive.

Loved Venice, didn't love Hotel Tre Archi

From the moment we arrived, the staff was cold and totally lacking in customer service skills. Did they really want guests?

The hotel is located about as far away from the historic areas as you can get without being in the lagoon. Though there's a water bus stop right outside, it's not a major line so the waits are pretty bad. We found that if we walked about half a mile to the Grand Canal, we could catch a bus easier.

The room was clean and in good repair. Otherwise, it was not a welcoming place to stay. The room was so small that we really had no where to place our luggage. We had to put the suitcases on the bed, get out what you might need, then slide them under the bed. The air conditioning was very weak, though not unexpected in an older building.

There is no elevator so older visitors may have an issue with so many stairs and no help from the staff.

Breakfast was adequate.... nothing special

We loved Venice but would avoid this hotel if we ever visit again.

Room Tip: Go somewhere else
