If you difficult to get the room during high season in venice, try this hotel. not in centre of rialto but is a great location to walk around too.Just walking distance to Basilica di San Marco and jaround 20 minutes walk to Rialto Bridge.Arrived from water taxi just behind the hotel and straight away to the reception, very convenient. As many other hotels in venice dont expect the big rooms, but this hotel the rooms were ok, not to big and not to small.Breakfast is in the garden or i the restaurants depend on the weather and the staff are friendly and helpful. And traveling with teens this hotel is lovely because you got wifi in the room and it is Free.

Here you stay within walking distance of everything you want to see in Venice down-town!!
A very nice street with exclusive shopping and great atmosphere. Same goes for hotell. Staff is excellent especially concierge who are outstanding!! Rooms are old style and clean. Leave enough time for the breakfast buffet- it will keep you going until late in the afternoon :). Overall good value for money, considering the address too. Don't miss Fenice theatre just 3 mins walk away!

My family and I stayed in this hotel after a 12-day Mediterranean cruise. This was one of 4 hotels offered by the cruise line, and we had stayed in this hotel on our first trip to Italy 9 years ago. We enjoyed the hotel so much then, that I did not hesitate to select it for our choice this time as well.
The hotel has a great deal of charm and its location could not be more perfect. St Mark's Square is just a short walk away, and yet the hotel is located on a quiet street so there is no concern regarding the possibility of disruptive sleep from noisy crowds.
The hotel was very accomodating regarding my room requests, and we had a large corner room with a balcony that was filled with old-world charm. Even though the hotel has been around for many years, the bathrooms are all modernized and updated with great rain showers. When an air conditioning leak produced a small flood on the floor of our daughters' nearby room, the staff was quick to remedy the situation by relocating them to another room as close to our room as possible.
The front desk staff I encountered at check-in was extremely helpful and welcoming. And special thanks to Andrea, the conceriege at the front desk who was extremelyl helpful in obtaining dinner reservations for us. Do not hesitate to avail yourself of his services -- he is wonderful!
I hope we can return to beautiful Venice again in the near future -- and if we are lucky enough to do so, we will definitely be staying at the wonderful Hotel Saturnia.

Spent three nights here, with 2 adults and 2 teens.
The location is great, a couple of minutes walk from St Marks square.
It is a historic building with great wooden beams. The rooms were large, clean and very comfortable.
Ours faced onto the canal at the back, which appeared to be the preferred route for the singing gondoliers in the afternoon. You could open the windows and enjoy the show, but with the windows closed, you didn't notice them.

The staff were great at making reservations and suggesting where to get the best gelato we had on our trip.
The breakfast buffet was in a lovely courtyard and was great. The cappuccino and espresso were second to none.

We caught the ferry from the airport to St. Mark's and from there it was a very easy walk taking approx 5 minutes. The reception staff are extremely friendly and helpful as are the staff at the restaurant. Breakfast was a mixture of hot and cold food and very varied enabling everyone to enjoy a good start to the day. One would be hard pushed not to find something they liked at the breakfast table. Breakfast was served in the garden courtyard which was very pleasant, spoiled only by the birds who were intent on trying to steal your food if you weren't alert. However, the staff do at least ensure that all food is covered hence preventing the birds from helping themselves to the food as I have seen in other establishments. We had a very positive experience at this hotel and would recommend it to other potential guests without hesitation.

This hotel is a real find in Venice. The rooms are well appointed and the service is first class. The concierge in particular is extremely helpful in recommending restaurants and things to do and see in Venice. The included breakfast is very complete and served in an elegant setting.

Room Tip: Rooms on the courtyard are quiet and those on the top floor have a small balcony overlooking the cou...
