The staff and assistance at the hotel made up for a rather drab room . Hotel is a bit worn and dowdy but the staff and the hospitality and location made of for the shortfalls of the stay.Fabulous location . the resturant was classic but a but expensive the breakfast buffet was very well done and laid out well.
Overall you would not go wrong with this hotel

Very good location. Staff friendly and accomodating. Except- we asked about transportation to Murano. We wanted to see the Museum there. We were taken on a very fun private boat but to a glass factory that was a shopping opportunity with no access to the Museum. Hotel room was small but romantic. Bed could have been softer but some might not mind that.

I just took my group here and I have to say the service is one of the best in Venice I have experienced. They treat you like a guest not a tourist. The rooms are very spacious for European standards. We even had a bath tub. A wonderful breakfast spread in the morning offering hot and cold items. One of the best breakfast buffets we had. They offer a lovely courtyard to have melas and drinks in providing a tranquil atmosphere. The hotel is in an excellent position to St Marks square, shopping and all the sites you want to see. I would highly recommend this hotel.

This hotel has an excellent concierge, Andrea, who gave us good recommendations, clear directions, and made the whole experience a pleasure. Tho hotel is a few blocks from San Marco and an easy walk from many sites, restaurants, and most water bus lines. We were hardly in our rooms except to sleep, but they were very comfortable also.

The hotel is in a great loction and is beautiful inside and out. It has a very nice patio and is next to the opera house so there is lots of beautiful music wafting through the air.

The staff attempt to be attentive but have an air of superiority that is off putting. We stayed in two different hotels while in Venice and although beautiful Saturnia was by far the least accomidating & given the price, hospitality should be top notch.

I would not recommend Saturnia to any of my friends. I'd say go for a drink or maybe dinner but I believe their tenure as a top rated Venetian hotel has gone to their heads.

Room Tip: Great to visit but not to stay.
