This hotel is perfectly situated (5 - 10 min from the St Marco square by foot).

We really enjoyed stay there. The staff was friendly and speaking multiple languages (including French). The room was clean, big, not noisy and confortable.

The breakfast was including in our rate and was fine (could be a bit improved).

We stayed in the annexe of this hotel. Nice room. Rather hot and sticky at night however as couldn't find evidence of aircon, which wouldn't be necessary in the daytime in June, but at night meant we got eaten by mosquitos as we had to have windows open.
We elected to eat ice cream instead of have hotel breakfast, so can't comment on that. Helpful staff. Recommend. 3 minutes walk from San Marco square. Pizza, Pasta, Pesce is a reasonable place to eat 2 minutes away towards the square....many other places are frighteningly expensive and a glass of wine in the square will cost you 16 euros when the orchestra is playing!!!

Room Tip: ours was fine (overlooking a fairly busy street on the second floor in the annexe)

This is the worst hotel I remember I have stayed at. Its not even a hotel, the reception is in one building and the rooms in other which is not more than just a house. The room was disgusting, very hot, air condition did not work, shower was broken, tv was a very old 14 inches box, safe was broken too. Not only the room was not great, the service was even worst, We had to leave very early in the morning and the person at the reception did not move a finger to help us find a taxi to go to the carparks, The only good thing I can say of this place is the location, it is very close to San Marcos.

Room Tip: Hardly can think of a good location

The Hotel Torino is a nice 3 star hotel located about 10 minutes from St. Mark's Square - an easy straight walk over 1 bridge. Which is nice when your hauling luggage. The Staff were very helpful and friendly. The room was a good size and clean with air conditioning. It was also quiet at night. There is a drink & snack shop located nearby as well. The breakfast was simply but the food was fresh and the coffee hot.

The Torino Hotel was recently upgraded and the rooms are elegant and beautiful. The size of the lobby is small but the rooms are good size with comfortable beds and furniture. The air conditioning is excellent and there is one small elevator which meets the needs of moving people and baggage up and down. The service is good and the breakfast which is included is also very good. The location is excellent within a short distance from Piazza San Marcos and other historic sites. The hotel is also located very close to the water taxi stop, which is most helpful in getting in and out of the island.

My husband and I spend 5 days at the Hotel Torino after our wedding. We were allocated a room in the annex which was close by to the main hotel, still in a great location to many of the main attractions in San Marco.

The staff were particularly friendly and helpful. The room itself, although relatively small, was clean, comfortable and represented good value for money considering its location. The only slightly negative thing was the fact we were on the third floor and there was no lift availbale. However the friendly check in staff helped carry our luggage up the stairs. We even got a bottle of fizz sent to our room the day after we checked in.

I would definately stay there again if I was visiting Venice and would recommend it to anyone that wanted value for money accommdation in the heart of Venice.
