Not the friendliest hotel i have stayed in & some areas are a lttle shabby, our 'triple superior'... room was extremely small & hot. We only paid £100 for 3 nights B&B so for Venetian standards it was value for money. Brilliant location though.

Room Tip: Wont recommend ours (Triple Superior)...but our friends stayed in Quad Superior, it was fabulously d...

Venice is expensive .... ! So this hotel is quite reasonable and the location is really great. It is a very walkable distance (with suitcase) from the Rialto Bridge and/or the ALILAGUNA LINES water taxi stop to and from the airport (the stop near the gardens next to St Mark's square).
Friendly service and lovely old style room with a decent sized lift (for Italy).
Smack in the middle of the island and 5 minutes from St Mark's square in one direction and the same to the Rialto bridge. Will stay there again.

We found the hotel very expensive for what we got, the room was in very bad condition, a bit dirty, and the shower was awful. Some friends stayed in other hotels nearby for the same price and with much higher quality. The only good thing about this hotel is the location, nothing else, if you can avoid it.

The hotel has pretty much the perfect location between Rialto Bridge and St. Marc's Square. There are lots of restaurants, eateries and gelaterias in the immediate vicinity.

The room was good, but smelled a little funky upon entering. It was not a big problem though - there are windows for that. Room was clean and had a comfy bed. There was a distinct lack of sockets though. Or maybe I was too stupid to find them. I ended up charging my mobile in the bathroom.

Bathroom was good, in full working condition and clean.

Great wifi connection (wifi router was next my door).
Breakfast was ok. A fair selection of food: sweet, savory, cereals, fruit, juices, coffees and teas.

Staff was very nice and very helpful.

Spectacular location, great room and good breakfast. Clean and tidy bedroom, good shower, really close to all the main attractions, restaurants nearby. Couldn't ask for more. And the staff was very helpful too.

Our room was quite reasonable, except the bathroom - the shower door didn't close and the shower flooded the whole bathroom.. After one night we went down to reception and asked to swap rooms. The fact that the lady at reception didn't even ask to see the room and just gave us another one, made us feel like she new about the problem. Our new room was slightly better but it was so hot!! We went down and asked how we could turn the heater off but apparently it was broken and so was the air-con!! Their only solution was to open the window - which had a broken top hinge and felt like it was going to fall in!! The only good thing about the hotel is the location - easy walking distance to St Marks Square and Rialto Bridge..

Room Tip: Don't stay in room 15 (terrible bathroom) or room 24 (so hot it's uncomfortable)

This hotel is a perfect location, 2 mins from San Marco and 5 mins from Rialto bridge. Deco is very Venetian and how we imagined it. 24 hour reception and staff were friendly and helpful. When we next visit we will be staying here again.........
