My husband and I just returned from Venice. I appreciated staying on the mainland so that we could have quiet at night and get some much-needed sleep! The hotel was quiet, clean, and the staff was helpful. You could book the shuttle into Venice in the morning. You did have to choose your return time but, if you wanted to return earlier, you could meet the shuttle ahead of time and ask which slot had a spot. Not perfect, but FAR cheaper than a taxi. We ate in the hotel's restaurant and the spaghetti was as good as anything in Rome....not as good as the top spot in Naples, but VERY good. The soup was delicious. I'd happily stay there again.

from the hotel description -> .."Venice Marco Polo Airport is just 13 km away.."- NOPE...not even close (you will pay around 50EUR for taxi).

from the hotel webpage ->"The hotel is connected with the airport through public transportation" - forget about it---NO way !!!

from the hotel webpage -> "The bus stop is at walking distance" -> :) if you are lucky to find it in the residential area, 15min walking if you are young and when the temperature outside is 35C ..good luck!

from the hotel webpage -> "Turn on the air conditioning and relax ..." ..yes, relax but not in the hotel.. because there is NO air conditioning, you CAN`T turn on or adjust the temperature!

You will pay for Wi-Fi and you will not get a connection..

Not sure why they called it a "shuttle bus"-> from the hotel to Old Venice town.. you have to book this the day before and all departure times are fixed(weird).

Couple of "amazing" things about this so called "hotel" -mold in the washroom, shower cabin- made for kids only age4-5, elevators only for 1 bag + 1 person(small)- you can`t see this anywhere in the world! ..or and don't forget THE SMELL!

Advise: if you are member with Westin, Sheraton, Marriott..etc- don't even consider to stay here.

I stayed at Holiday Inn Venice - Mestre Marghera for one night for a business trip.

The room is good, the bathroom is spacious, overall the hotel is nice.
There is an internal restaurant.

Pay attention at the entrance: it is in a roundabout, and you have to enter in the petrol station to access the parking. It is fine, once you know it.

Overall a good stay.

Room Tip: I always kindly ask the front desk for a room with the window on the back, in roder to minimize the noise of the trafic.

I stayed here 2 nights. Its only 15- 20 minutes from the hotel to Venice. You have to walk a bit to catch the public transport to venice. The rooms are ok but it was too small to open two suitcases. The room needs some air freshener as it gave me a dull smell when I entered. Its a good place if you are staying for 1 or 2 nights.Breakfast and Dinner was good. It was tasty and value for money. The staff was friendly and helpful.

We found the property by referral. The property was note especially to access by public transit. There is a shuttle fromthe main bus station in Venice but you need to contact the hotel off the schedule. The rooms were too small for two open suitcases. The shower was awkward as it lacked a shower curtain. There was mold in tub.

Dear woodmister,

Thank you for taking the time to complete a review on your stay. I sincerely regret that your visit was not 100% satisfactory due to the size of the room you were given and if its bathroom facility's maintenance was a disappointment. We all hope that you would give us another chance to make your stay as best as it can be.
