Couldn't fault this hotel, location is amazing, you can get so lost in Venice but the hotel being at the focal point in Venice was perfect to find our way back.
Staff are amazing nothing was too much trouble and they offered lots of advise on visiting Venice when asked.
Breakfast was lovely, room quiet and clean.
We booked a superior room and the view was amazing of the square.

The hotel located right at piazza San Marco, great location. It's a small hotel, but almost all the hotels in Venice are small. Prize-wise moderate, don't compared with US price, for sure you'll get more in US with their rate. But, considered this is Venice, it's a reasonable rate. You could stay at mainland for cheaper accommodation and come to visit by boat during daytime, but you'll miss Venice at night which is amazing. We opted for junior suite. Check in hassle-free. The room is small even for Europe standard, but when you in Venice you want to be outside anyway so it wasn't a big deal. What you need is good bathroom and bed, along with delicious breakfast. The hotel has all of these. Bed is comfy. We were surprised that the bathroom quite spacious and very modern, really nice. The breakfast buffet is good spread. The staff is polite and prompt in services. Lots of restaurants around it, well it's Venice, you'll find restaurants everywhere especially at San Marco area. We had lunch at the hotel, the food and service were excellence. Definitely a good hotel to consider when visiting Venice.

Our room was outstanding - overlooked St. Marks Square. A short walk to the square and the Doges Palace. We enjoyed a special New Year's Eve celebration dinner (excellent food) followed by fireworks over the square. Rooms are beautiful as well.
I would stay there again in a heartbeat.

Room tip: Request a room with a view, if possible. There are only a few but well worth the effort.

this hotel is a little gem. The room had been redone, marble bathroom, spacious, good air conditioning. Very accommodating hotel staff, making recommendations for dinner, sightseeing, arranging visit to Murano glass factory. Porter was great in getting our bags to room. Breakfast was very good, great pastries. Had lunch there too and they were very accommodating to my friend who has food allergies.

Room tip: Some of the rooms have been redone, so you might ask for one of those
