“Great Hotel”

Very comfortable, very clean and only metres from the train station. With the added bonus of water taxis and gondolas out front. And although it is quite a walk to St Marks Square, you get to wander past many shops as you make your way there. Take the walk if you can. The Italian leather products are second to none. Would definitely stay there again!

Nice hotel, food cold and not very good, breakfast very uninteresting, great shame coffee etc was via a machine which gave out coffee tasting more like bovil rather than coffee.staff were okay just a few changes would have made all the difference, could not fault the bedroom cleaning clean sheets towels, which was a bonus, location of this hotel was really good, with so much going on boats coming and going people arriving and departing ,all fine but please get rid of the coffee machine and have some fresh fruit on offer at breakfast.

We stayed here for 2 nights in May 2013. Our room was beautiful with a beautiful marble bathroom complete with big bath tub. The view from the room was great! The hotel was a 2 minute walk from Venezia Santa Lucia train station and a 5-10 minute walk to the bus terminal. The hotel was a long walk from St Marks Basillica, the Rialto Bridge and the Bridge of Sighs (maybe 40 minutes) but it is a wonderful walk- loads of shops and restaurants and beautiful canal views.

The staff at the hotel were very friendly and the breakfast was great. Only thing that was missing was wireless internet in the rooms (I was expecting this given the price that we paid). Aircon in our room was also not working during our stay.

This hotel is so perfect. Great location: almost 10 meters from the metro station and facing the water taxi, also shopping area is so close and very nice restaurant.
The rooms are spacious and very neat. Staff very helpful and friendly.
Breakfast not bad, but there should be more variety.
I do recommend this hotel as I had a very comfortable stay.

Great location on the water front about 50 yards from station, ideal for water taxis etc. The hotel because of its location is well used and is starting to show this. Rooms large, clean and comfortable but the we found the hotel food to be terrible so much that we did not bother with breakfast after first day.
the location however enables you to see Venice with ease by foot, gondola, water taxi with ease which is a major plus point

The Bellini is conveniently located just next to Venice's Santa Lucia rail station. It's one of those traditional Venice hotels that abound in red velvet upholstery and elaborate wallpaper, a bit overwhelmingly I thought - but I know many visitors come to expect that over-the-top Venetian baroque style. My room overlooked the busy Lista di Spagna, a road that never sleeps - and I didn't sleep much either. I asked for - and was given - a new room the second night (#301) and I was absolutely happy with it. The room appeared to have been recently refurbished and was perfectly quiet. Minus points were the feeble water pressure in the shower (but that happens a lot in Venice) and the breakfast spread, which I thought wasn't up to the mark. Hotel staff - however - were extremely kind and helpful and the Bellini is a place I'd definitely return to, if I could get room 301 again, that is.

Room Tip: Avoid rooms overlooking the main drag.

This hotel has a great location whether you are arriving to Venice via bus, train, or water taxi. We took the water taxi so as to have the most scenic view, and we had just a short walk with one small bridge to get to the hotel. We left via bus, and also had no trouble with the walk. The hotel is even closer to the train station than to the bus stop. The Vaporetto stop to get to the rest of the Grand Canal is just in front of the train station, so also very convenient.
We had a wonderful view from our room, with the Grand Canal just to the left. Our room was lovely with great air conditioning!
