We stayed here for one night prior to our cruise and were very pleasantly surprised at how good it was. It is, of course, very conveniently situated just over a bridge from Piazzale Roma where all the buses, taxis, trains congregate, and close to the docks where the cruise ships moor. The staff were particularly helpful and we found it interesting to be in a different part of Venice to the usual San Marco area. We had a couple of good meals in nearby restaurants though we were directed to a restaurant for dinner by the hotel which we did not like - unfortunately I cannot remember its name. It was behind the Giardini Papadopoli on a canal.
Breakfast, included in the room price, provided everything one could have wanted. One wished there were more tables outside in the charming garden.More
