“Perfect location to stay for a city visit”
Reviewed August 27, 2012

From the moment we arrived we were made to feel extremely welcome. All the staff were super and very happy to answer all our questions and gave us some excellent advice. The room was fairly small but very comfortable and more than adequate for a city stay. Breakfast was a typical continental buffet but of high quality and there was plenty of it. Overlooking the Grand Canal was a bonus and it is so central being only a two minute walk to the Vaporetto and the station. We'd definitely stay again.

Room Tip: Our room overlooked the Grand Canal, which meant there was some noise, but we chose it for the view...

We stayed at this Hotel for 3 nights in May 2012. The Hotel Is in a great location right on the Grand Canal and It was very easy to find and is short walk from the bus station. The staff were polite and helpful and the Hotel and rooms were very clean. The breakfast was excellent with a great choice. The hotel was also very convenient for the vaporetta. At the end of a busy day it was pleasant to sit on the seats at the front of the hotel and watch the world go by.
The room size was fine with the only down side that the shower was very small and I felt could be dangerous if you are not very mobile.
When I visit Venice again I would certainly stay at this hotel again.

We stayed for 4 nights in this beautiful hotel. When we arrived, the young girl on reception greeted us with a big smile. (a bonus after the miserable faces we encountered in Turkey and Majorca on our last two holidays!!) Although the room was small, it was beautifully clean. The breakfast was great - something for everyone and the staff were pleasant and welcoming. The rooftop bar was a good place to chill out, with a great realaxing atmosphere and, again, courteous staff.
The location is great for the bus station, train station and the vaparetto and Rialto and San Marco are a short walk away. We found some amazing bars - some of the nicest are hidden down the little backstreets - friendly locals, a bottle of beer for 2Euro/tapas/light bites and chilling music.Visit Venice connected.com for a good deal on vaparetto tickets and transfers with Atvo (9 euro return to Treviso airport!)
Highly recommended!

Wow! Amazing place with an amazing view! Easy to get to from the train station . There are many Hotel choices , but my husband picked this and it's wonderful. Our room opens to the Grand Canal. It's very spacious and clean. Beautifully decorated ... Also cool. Breakfast included , great selection. This for me is 10-10!

We stayed at this hotel the night before our cruise on the 9th August. Our only regret is that we only booked to stay one night !
The bedroom was, as others have said, rather small and towards the back of the hotel with a view of a large domed church. Nothing to write home about, but, having read other reviews before the holiday and knowing that we had booked a standard room, we knew what to expect. The room was spotless and very comfortable, quiet and more than adequate for our needs.
The plus point were the staff who were ultra friendly - from the Receptionist, Porters, Waiters and staff in the dining room. All were helpful and couldn't have wanted to please us more.
We spent a wonderful evening eating a fabulous meal on the patio area outside the hotel and met some other pre cruise guests who were fantastic company.
Breakfast was good and the Breakfast area was well managed.
The location of the hotel is great - as others have said - and there were plenty of shops across the bridge and we enjoyed an evening stroll. We also walked to St Mark's Square and rather than go the long way recommended by the hotel receptionist we went the short route. (Basically turn right after the hotel and follow the signs for St Mark's).
As I've said we were sad that our stay was short, and if we need to do an over night stay in Venice again we will definitely stay at this hotel and make sure that it is for at least 2 nights.

Room Tip: You pay for what you get - the cheaper rooms are at the back with no views!
