We stayed here 3 nights in October 2013. We picked it because it was close to the train station and we were arriving by train with very large suitcases. The location wasn't as close as I expected, however, we were able to find (just outside the train station) a porter to transport our big luggage on foot to the hotel, saving us lots of money. (We were told it would cost 60 Euro for the water taxi and then we would have to carry our bags part of the way.) Once at the hotel, the host carried our heavy bags up two flights of stairs for us (Thank you!) The room was clean, and had a beautiful bathroom. Storage was adequate. The breakfast was served in the room and was just okay--a cappuccino, juice, and pastries, crackers etc. My friend who does not eat pastries or drink juice, had to buy a panini for her breakfast. And, I always had to buy another cappuccino later. My only issues with staying here were 1) the room was a little dark, 2) it had no phone to call down to the desk with questions, and 3) had no coffee making equipment that we had access to. But the hosts were very nice, and the B&B very clean, and I felt very safe at Acquavenice.

Room Tip: Room 203 is a bit dark (but quiet). If you like sun, ask for another room. If you like quiet, ask...

From the time we entered the B&B and were received by the fabulous sisters Maria and Maria Theresa, owners of this gem in Venice, we were taken off our feet. The location is perfect for any tourist excursion. Rooms and attached bathrooms are spacious and immaculately clean! Decor is perfectly Venetian. Breakfast is served in the room: Amazing spread brought in by the Sisters themselves, variety of breads and croissants were, jams and spreads, freshly brewed coffee! As you enter, the lovely and most hospitable sisters have a lovely reception room to receive guests and check them in before they show us to the rooms. It was a home away from home, made so special by those amazing sisters. We would not stay any where else on our next trip to Venice except here

Room Tip: Rooms overlooking the street are lovely and gives you a view of what happens on a typical morning in...

We stayed at B&B Aquavenice in August 2013 . It was beautiful.
The place is fantastic - marble, mirrors, chandeliers, paintings, .... everything that is characteristic of Venice !
Maria one of the sisters who runs this place is charming and friendly and went out of her way to help us. She was accomodating as they allowed us to keep one room for a late check out as our flight was in the evening.
Its also close to the station which is convenient.
I would certainly recommend this place to all my friends.
Thank you Maria and hope we can meet again one day !

Three of us stayed for three nights at the end of Sept. to see the Biennale. This BB was perfection. Breakfast was exquisite. Room was huge compared to Paris and most previous stays in Venice. We loved it. The two sisters are very generous. I had a very sore throat and one sister mad chamomile tea, honey and lemon for me. I felt fine the next day.

Room Tip: Only one bridge to cross from the station.

My boyfriend and I stayed here for 3 nights during a short stay in Venice. We were welcomed by the two lovely ladies in charge. Our room overlooked the street and was decorated beautifully. Breakfast was delivered to the room each morning which was a treat, especially if you are not in a rush to get ready and head out! It is a handy location surrounded by shops and restaraunts, and only 10 minutes walk from the main bus station where we arrived. I would recommend this place to anyone staying in Venice. I thought it was excellent for the price. Also, if you like a firm comfortable bed, you will have a great sleep here!

No words can describe the feeling you get at this place. You feel huged all the time. Great location, near the station and easy to get everywhere. Very close to a vaporeto stop. Great room, the breakfast is served at the room, simple and awesome. Fresh items, including juice and pastries. Very nice room and awesome bathroom. Would certainly come again.

My husband and I loved Aquavenice where we stayed for two nights in May. It's just a short walk from the train station, located on a busy street in the daytime but a quiet one at night. We were greeted warmly by Maria, one of the owners. It's obvious the B & B is not just a business to them but more of a way to show travellers their love of Venice.
The room was spacious and beautifully decorated in old Venetian style. The bed was very comfortable. The bathroom, shower and everything in our room was spotless. We enjoyed delicious breakfasts of freshly baked pastries, freshly squeezed orange juice, coffee and thick hot chocolate on a small table in our room. If we ever get back to Venice we'd love to stay there again.
