Hard to find but worth the hunt. And even if you don't buy anything, it's worth the visit. More books than you can shake a stick at, and as least four large contented cats.

At the entrance of this bookstore there is a sign that says "Welcome to the most beautiful bookstore in the world". I saw the sign and said to myself: "so the owner wrote that, so what" and almost continued without entering... How lucky I did not!
I don't think this bookstore is the most beautiful bookstore in the world (I think that "El Ateneo Grand Splendid" in Buenos Aires is the most beautiful one) but for sure this is the most special, different and unusual one. (watch the pictures added)
You have to see and be there to feel the atmosphere. Books piled into a Gondola, bathtubs, wine-barrel, etc. Besides the numerous cats that sleep on top of them (the books), the back-door to the canal.
This is one of the attractions (yes, this is a must attraction), you will never forget. Even if you don't buy a book, magazine or poster, Luigi (what a special person) the owner will be delighted to talk to you or let you take pictures of the store and be photographed
with him too.
