We were intrigued when we walked by on our way to dinner our first night in Venice, and sought out this delightful little spot a few days later when we needed a mid-morning bite. Best porchetta sandwich I've ever had.

Very chill neighborhood spot. Love the Chet Baker photo behind the bar.

We have had some tapas and wines chosen by the owner. It was really good and fresh. Made only of fishes.
Location is small but this is like that that you can enjoy it.
This is the only place like this that we try and we like it.
Therefore, I have to admit that it was expensive but I assume all this type of places are like that.

Stumbled on this place by chance looking for a quick lunch and we were so charmed by the little plates, the wine and the welcome that we went back again for a late dinner two days later!

Close to strada nova one of the most important road of venice is a nice spot to have a typical venetian aperitif, good wine and even better simple typical venetian food.
Definitely not one of the many tourist traps that you can find in this area so crowded by tourists that move from the rail station and S. Marco square and back.

This is one of those places where you can nurture a glass of wine for hours without pressure to buy anything more and just watch the world go by. There is very limited warm foods and mostly cold chicettis. We found the pricing okay. A place where you see a lot of locals hang out.
