We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in this quaint, perfectly located hotel. There are shops and restaurants right on your doorstep and being close to the water taxis and railway and bus stations was a bonus . Our room was clean and extremely comfortable, with large bathroom. We were fortunate to have booked early enough to be allocated a room on the ground floor so didn't have to lug our heavy suitcases up the stairs! Breakfasts were good, plenty of great coffee! The staff were extremely friendly and helpful and I would highly recommend this hotel.

Room Tip: Ask for ground floor room if you have heavy cases!

This hotel is fantastic. Very friendly staff who speak very good English and are more than happy to help. Really handy location, as it is a very short walk from the train station. Don't need to negotiate your bags over stairs/bridges. It is about a 35 minute walk into the square but it is a great walk full of things to see. (Can get water taxis though if you are not a walker)

Room was very quaint, just like the photos on this site show. The air conditioning worked well and the room was a decent size and very clean.

Breakfast was a nice continental with excellent coffee.

This little hotel just off the Grand Canal and round the corner from the railway station continues to impress! The customer service is excellent, as were our rooms - very effective air conditioning which was extremely welcome in the temperatures we encountered whilst in Venice! Breakfast is good and cappucinos done to perfection - served with great Italian flourish and enthusiasm! Keep up the good work! We'll be back!

We stayed here for 2 nights after our cruise. It was a jaunt over the larger bridge to the hotel, which other travellers have mentioned. I'm not sure I was prepared for how large it was, but once you are over it was fine. The room and hotel were very clean, the room was comfortable. This location is near the train station and bus depot so I found it busier than staying by St. Mark's. The staff is very friendly and helpful, recommending excellent restaurants, and where the Venetians shop was great. The breakfast was very good (especially the coffee)! It wasn't too far to catch the water bus back to the airport either. We arrived before our room was ready but they were kind enough to keep our luggage so we could go off and sight see. I would definitely recommend this hotel, especially if you are getting on/off the train. Thank you for your kind hospitality!

We stayed for 2 nights in a superior room and thoroughly enjoyed it. I picked the hotel because it was close to the station and we were travelling on & didn't want to drag luggage too far. It turned out to be an ideal location for the train station and the water taxis, away from the madness of the main city centre but very easy to get to the main sites. Rooms were clean and comfortable and the air con worked well. A tiny issue with our room was quickly dealt with. The staff were all very pleasant and helpful. Breakfast was great - plenty of choice, loads of pastries and the famous cappuccino which was indeed excellent. The wifi was playing up during our stay which might have been a problem if we had been relying on it, but we weren't. Would definitely stay here again and would recommend this hotel as an affordable option in a great location.

We arrived by train at 8 am to stay one night and depart the next evening. We based our accommodation selection on proximity to the train station as our time in Venice was so short. We were extremely happy with the location. Basically get off the train, turn toward the Grand Canal, first left down a little alleyway and then we were there (?5 min walk from train). There are three or four hotels located in the alley which is tidy and clean; very safe. Welcoming helpful staff who spoke English well. Standard room was not fancy, furnishings basic and darkish colour theme but not worn -spacious, clean, comfortable with air conditioning working well. It would have accommodated a couple with two children of any age well. Surprisingly quiet and we slept well. So everything we needed. They stored our luggage for us until we were ready to leave. Fresh breads with breakfast and the best and most generous portion of coffee/cafe au lait of our entire trip to Italy. Would stay there again if we ever went to Venice again.
