All hotels in Venice are quite expensive for what they offer. This said, you get more for your money at Le Isole. Spotless clean and new, tastefully decorated and very conveniently located. One word about location; I would put the center of the tourist Venice in the middle of Rialto bridge and San Marco square, so Le Isole is somewhat off the center. This said, Venice is small enough so you are never more than 20 mins away from anywhere.

Trust the reception staff for dinner recommendations. They can direct you to authentic Venetian restaurants, not the tourist traps.

Spent 3 lovely days here, the location was perfect and it was always easy to find your way back to the hotel in an otherwise complicated maze of streets! Everyone we met were very friendly and helpful and the room, although not large, was very comfortable and the addition of a kettle as well as the mini bar was very much appreciated. A lovely breakfast to start the day, (available until midday) meant there was no rush, which was exactly how Venice operates generally. Easy access to the water bus and a tourist information office less than 5 mins walk from the hotel, makes this a fantastic location to stay, would recommend it to anyone thinking of visiting.

This hotel is sited a few minutes walk (without steps) from the vaparetto stop st Zaccharia, 5 mins walk from St Marks Square, beside a quiet side canal and adjacent to a busy street with shops and restaurants. Aside from a view the location has it all. The hotels directions are good, but as the Calle hits the T junction (square), turn left to the canal and right to go up the canal side. It is literally a few mins walk. The location meant we often crashed here early afternoon for a brief period.
We had the medium type room, it was quiet and faced the internal square. It was not a large room but had two comfy chairs to sit on which we appreciated.
There was a kettle and tea/ coffee, mini fridge with complimentary soft drinks and a couple of beers to set you up.
Bathroom was a decent size with bath, over bath shower, bidet , toiletries and even shoe cleaning pads and slippers.
Breakfast was good and they would make you cappuccino and expresso if you asked. Two cups even. Scrambled eggs and bacon offer and a good selection of breads, also fruit, yogurt, cheese, cereal etc.
All of the staff were very helpful and that added to the hotels value. W would certainly go back.
They'll advise on restaurants etc.
We got a 4 night for the price of 3 deal. The hotel was not cheap but the reasonable hotels in Venice were on the expensive side we found.

I booked this hotel after reading the good reviews on Tripadvisor and was not disappointed. The location is minutes from San. Zaccharia vaporetti stop, so a good base but away from the bustle. We couldn't find the hotel at first, but tip when you arrive at San Zaccharia stop, go through the alleyway that has a sign above it for 'S. Zaccharia' and 'Carabinieri' - Sott. Calle San Zaccharia. This takes you to the square with the church - Campo San Zacharia, turn left into Salizz San Provolo and continue the short distance to the bridge, turn left before the bridge where you will see a small green sign at ground level (we missed this) for Le Isole. The hotel offers a complimentary soft drinks in the mini bar and picked up from our passports that my husband and I both had birthdays during our short stay and left us a complimentary bottle of sparkling wine in our room! I agree with other reviews about the staff, particularly the Reception staff and the very friendly waitress at breakfast. The hotel is immaculate. Don't worry if it rains and you forgot an umbrella, they offer guests umbrellas to borrow at the front door. Glad to say we only needed briefly on the first night. There are lots of restaurants nearby but be wary of - the prices some charge for wine, which can vary from a reasonable 10 euros a bottle in one while another of a similar standard would charge 22 euros for the cheapest bottle! Also service charge can vary, up to 15%, as well as the cover charge. As elsewhere, we found the best restaurants were those where the locals were also dining. Venice is an amazing place.

Room Tip: The standard rooms are small but very comfortable and decorated and furnished to a high standard. If you prefer more space pay for the next grade up. We asked for a quiet room which was at the side of the hotel. The rooms overlooking the canal might be nice.

Very nice cozy hotel in a perfect location. Small but well equipped and nicely decorated rooms. Simple tasty breakfast. We could not stop eating this beautiful ham. If you want to travell to Burano or Murano it is preferable to walk to foundamente nouve than to take vaporetto from nearby station s. Zaccharia. It is not a serious deficiency but since we try to optimize the quantity of things to take with in a voyage it was notable - no body lotion and hair conditioner in the room.
