We stayed on this wonderful boutique hotel on july 21st, 2012 for 2 nights and it was so relaxing; no noise at all and gorgeous beds and bathrooms, with a venetian decoration. The hotel is in front of the Zacharias Station of Vaporetto transportation system and one block of Piazza San Marco. The hotel boasts a nice terrace on it's restaurant where you can watch the boats cruising on the Grand Canal or even though, big cruises departing or arriving to the port terminal. We had a memorable stay and hope we have the chance to return.

Room Tip: If you can, ask for a room facing the lagoon!!

Wwet ravelled to Venice to celebrate my wife's 50th birthday. We had done a lot of research into hotels etc before finally booking. My wife wanted a Room with a balcony overlooking the Canal or Lagoon and with a terrace, but taking our 14 year old son with us meant we also had to have connecting rooms. After our research we decided on the Londra Palace. On our arrival by Private water taxi we were not disappointed, the taxi moored right outside the front door. Walking theough the front doors we felt as if our choice was going to the correct one. When we were led to our rooms sure enough we had connecting rooms, but not just by a door, the two rooms were at the end of a corridor with a door into a small hallway and each room then had its own door, one to the rear overlooking a small courtyard, the other to the front with a fantastic view overlooking the Lagoon and with a small balcony which we could stand on and watch the tourists go by. My wife was overjoyed with our choice. The staff were all fantastic, helping with Restaurant choices, Gondola rides etc. the room itself was just lovely with a separate walk in wardrobe and the bathroom was typically Italian, but with a jacuzzi bath as a little extra. The hotel also left a bottle of Prosecco for us on our arrival with a small letter welcoming us and our son. The toiletries my wife reliably informs me were the nicest we had ever had, and that includes the Balmoral Hotel and Gleneagles in Scotland. The walls of the room were decorated in the traditional Italian style with silk wall coverings. Breakfast was taken outside on the Terrace, pigeons being the only downside. we had dinner in Do Leoni one the evening of my wife's birthday and the food was delicious, well presented and the staff very welcoming especially Davide who it turned out had previously worked back in Scotland. The whole Hotel was tastefully decorated to a very high standard and the Bellini was as delicious and as good as it gets. Waking up in the morning and looking out to the Lagoon and watching Venice come alive was fantastic and then again in the evening watching the tourist's return to the cruise ships and vaporetti taking other back to other parts of Venice. All in all the 3 nights in Venice were amazing and the Londra Palace gave my wife a 50th birthday which she will never forget. Should definitely be on everyone's list when travelling to Venice.

Room Tip: If you are a family with older children the rooms 316 and 318.

Overall the hotel was nice. Bathroom was a little narrow, when using restroom knees would almost hit shower :( We had the room with the Terrace, beautiful view. Breakfast was always fresh, and service was good. Very interestingly decorated rooms, really ornate.

My husband and I stayed at the Londra Palace in July for our honeymoon. We had booked a deluxe room with a lagoon view and were upgraded to a suite as Citalia had informed the hotel that we were on our honeymoon. On our arrival there was a bottle of champagne waiting on the table and an envelope with our names on containing a message of Congrattulations. This was unexpected and a lovely surprise to start off our holiday.
The room was one of the nicest we have ever stayed in and was plush and elegantly decorated with silk wall coverings and lots of added extras and was also very spacious.
The bathroom was very luxurious and the products were of a very high quality.
There was a very good choice at breakfast and it was served outside on the terrace. The common areas of the hotel were decorated to a very high standard and the staff were extremely friendly and helpful.
I would recommend this hotel to anyone staying in Venice.

So this hotel is the most expensive we have stayed in at 345 euros a night and i can say it was worth it. We arrived quite late to the hotel that night (around 11pm) as we worked on a cruise ship - anything to get away from bunk beds for the night. We originally booked the superior double, however on arrival we were taken up to our room by a very friendly man and explained we had been given the suite!!!

The suite was huge, a super king bed which once both of us laid on it we couldn't even touch one another, a bathroom the size of our cabin on the ship equipped with Shower, toilet, b-day and sink, there was also a table/chairs and a small sofa chair to relax and windows which could open right out to reveal the grand canal. However the best thing about this room was there was a jacuzzi bath next to the bed!! They had also given us a complimentary bottle of champagne! We decided to spent the night relaxing in the jacuzzi drinking champagne....you can't really go wrong. We also had free wifi - just so we could make others jealous back on the ship and robes/slippers were also provided. We had a great night sleep and looking out the window late at night with the boats and bars/restaurants open was a lovely scene. The location of this hotel is excellent, in fact it was right in front where the water taxi from the ships drops you so you literally walk a few metres.
Breakfast in the morning was served in the buffet downstairs where you could sit outside and watch the other tourists and locals walk by. There was no cooked breakfast which we was hoping for but the continental selection was great and many of the items were homemade.
Overall the best hotel we have stayed in for service, little touches and location. It was a night to remember!

Room Tip: I don't know if this worked in our favour by arriving late to get the room we did. Worth a try i...

From the moment that you arrive you fell at home. The staff are excellent. Very friendly and cannot do too much for you., The cleanliness of the hotel cannot be faulted and the comfort of the rooms is superb. Food in the restaurant is as its reputation - first class. We were very sorry to leave after 4 nights of a truly wonderful experience.

Room Tip: Ask for a room overlooking the lagoon

Great location and solid accomodations. The concierge staff was among the best (most helpful) we have encountered. Very few hotels in Venice have the location, high end accomodations and service this hotel offers. In august hotel's location can be bit of curse as its innundated with day tourist. Thousands of day tourist make the front enterance of the hotel difficult to navigate amd exhausting to look at.
