My wife and I stayed here 8 years ago. Back then the name of the hotel had been Sofitel. Now it is within the same Accor hotel chain but under different name.
The good memories brought us back. Except for the name not too many things changed, which is good. The hotel is within short walk from the main parking garages of Venice and is within walking distance from all Venice attractions. The hotel is old, but clean and everything works well including the air-condition, which is very important in the boiling summer.
We stayed family of 5 with kids at ages of 8-12. We had two rooms with connecting doors - very convenient. The rooms facing the canal on the 3rd floor were silent at night. Just below there are restaurants open late and we could go down ad have beer after midnight.
Breakfast is good. The service is good. All together very good experience.
