“A serious Art collection”
Reviewed May 24, 2013

This is so different from the other art forms you will see in Venice. It is a fine and interesting collection, well presented in Peggy's home. This is an Art Gallery, but you are reminded that it was home with pictures and script about Peggy well placed as you go around.
It is popular and can be crowded, but the exhibits overcome such inconvenience.
My only complaint is that photographs are allowed and it seemed that too many people were there to take photographs rather than appreciate the wonderful sights.

“Small venue, big art”
Reviewed May 23, 2013

What a thrill to see Bird in Space in the actual space, not to mention all the other great art in the collection. This is a definite must-see in Venice. But plan wisely--even in April we found that the crowd was larger than we expected. If there were many more people the experience of the art and the space might have been diminished. Exploring in the area around the museum is also worthwhile if you get off the main tourist pathways.

“Packed like sardines, but great art.”
Reviewed May 19, 2013

This place has an awesome collection, and I loved that they kept some of Peggy's original furniture with photos to show what her house looked like when she lived there. The only issue is you are literally PACKED in there like sardines with other people. But I guess that's the way it is most places in Italy.
