“Great view from the Campanile”
Reviewed June 24, 2014

If you can be in line at 9 am when the Campanile opens. You will have uncrowded access to all the wonderful views of Venice. Great way to get your bearings for walking around Venice.

“Worth the queue”
Reviewed June 24, 2014

Ride the elevator to the top for amazing views. Worth going after 5pm when the day trips go home. Still had to queue but only for 5 minutes rather than half an hour

“well worth it!”
Reviewed June 23, 2014

Choose the time you go up this tower.

Our guide recommended around lunchtime or just after (between 1 - 2.30 pm) when the queues aren't so long. We did this and there were about 30 - 40 people ahead of us and it only took about a 10 minute wait.

The cost is about 8 euros each and is well worth it. The views are outstanding. You get a full 360 degree view of the city and on a clear day (which is most) you can see for miles.

I don't know what happens when the bells sound, maybe they keep people down for this time as there is no doubt you would be deafened by the noise as you walk around just underneath these huge things!

“Great vista, worth 8 euro”
Reviewed June 22, 2014

Go early for the shortest queue.it opens at about 9 am, but check, the times are at the entrance. The queue moves quickly then and you get a chance to see the vista without too much congestion. It s 8 euro per person. I thought it was worth it but could see issues with overcrowding at peak times. I didn't get a chance to check out other viewing points so I don't know if better is available

“You can see the whole of venice from here!”
Reviewed June 21, 2014

We were lucky that there was no queue. A lift takes you swiftly to the top from where you have fabulous panoramic views of Venice thus providing loads of photo opportunities. Despite it being busy at the top, there is quite a hush as people marvel at the views.
