Love this bridge due to the beautiful view you get coming around the corner to santa maria della salute! Its the the more understated rialto in my opinion where not everyone is fighting to take a photo!!

We stumbled upon Ponte dell'Accademia while getting lost in Venice. What a beautiful surprise! The view is amazing on both sides of the bridge. Take the time to savor the moment!

By far not the grandest or the most architecturally pleasing bridge in Venice the Ponte dell'Accedemia is functional more than anything else. With the Gallerie dell'Accademiaon on one side and the Campo S Stefano on the other side it crosses the Grand Canal at the bottom of Venice and the Grand Canal and is the only route into this part of Venice. However, it does contain, as far as I'm concerned, the best and greatest view in the city. Looking down the Grand Canal towards the St Maria Della Salute Church the view is iconic and best seen at sunset. Probably one of my favourite spots in the whole of the city and one of the most romantic locations in Venice.

This is a must see place.
The view is absolutely amazing!
Counting that if you come from San Marco you will reach one of the most amazing Sestiere... Dorsoduro.

You won't miss it and won't regret it.
