“Take your time - there's a lot of art here!”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed June 16, 2013

Impressive building on the Grand Canal, easy to get to from waterbus stop right outside. Mixture of art from different eras spread out over 3 floors, gives a flavour of what life was like for rich Venetians. And great views from the top floor.

“Very good restoration”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed June 15, 2013

I have been here a number of times, and always appreciate the chance. It is very well restored and if you avoid crowds it resonates with history. The exhibits are well presented and we particularly love the little murals of punchinello.

“See inside a Grand Canal palazzo”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed June 15, 2013

A beautiful building full of pretty things. It’s not an Art museum like most of the other museums in this city, although there are plenty items of interest hanging on the walls. The main attraction is the ability to see inside one of the palaces you pass all day along the Grand Canal with some rooms original and some relocated from other places. There is information on cards in each room in several languages. Allow 60 to 90 minutes to get through everything.

“A great chance to view a Venetian palace”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed June 14, 2013

This Venetian palace is one of the few open to the public. It is furnished with authentic period pieces and is worth the time to visit for its beautiful ceiling frescoes alone. The architecture is impressive and it gives a rare glimpse into the "lifestyle of the rich and famous" in Venice's classical era.

“Favorite Museum in Venice”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed June 7, 2013

My daughter and I both found this to be one of our favorite museums in Venice. It's set up like a fabulous residence would be from that era and the beautiful art speaks for itself of course. It's also a lot less crowded, which is refreshing. Go and enjoy.
