Hidden among the calli, there is this incredible stair that has the aspect of vertical spiral. The view from the terrace it’s so beautiful.

This is super hidden away in the small back streets of Venice. We found it right at sunset and had about 45 minutes left to climb and see the view. It was beautiful. I wish we had seen it during the day as well, but at night, it was lovely.
It is a bit expensive, I think, for the view especially since there are no public restrooms. Otherwise, it's hard to beat the view.

I visit Venice 3 to 4 times a year and i am amazed how many people miss this wonderful building , it is a little difficult to find but well worth a visit and after all everybody get's lost at least once in Venice that is part of the magic of this lovely city ! My advice would be if you look for H&M store you will not get lost as it is only a few minutes from the store down a very small alley . You do not need to pre purchase a special ticket as you can pay at the entrance and it is not too expensive with reduced prices for 26 yrs. and under and 65 yrs . and over , there is a small art gallery inside and then you get to climb the spiral staircase which when you get to the top you get the most amazing view over the roof tops of Venice ! only downside for me is i am scared of heights and i stupidly looked over balustrade on my way up which i regretted doing ( i learnt the hard way ) but i am still glad that i went up there i would not have missed this hidden gem for anything !

Second time in Venice and having not gotten to see it the first time round decided to pop and have a look whilst my wife and daughter visited the Doges Palace.
Somehow got lost! (sense of direction is terrible! - get lost in supermarkets) and still ended up not having viewed it.
Maybe next time...

I was expecting to see many of what I believed to be traditional venetian staircases in Venice (ie. a staircase with arched windows along the side) but this was the only one that I could find. Not only that, it was hidden away in a very small square approached through a maze of very narrow passages but was well worth the effort to find it and climb to the top to have a good look at it and the view.
