There is a grand canal if I get into a boat from the Santa Lucia station.
The beginning from spring to the autumn is a best season.

Take any boat - from the vaporetto, the gondola or speedy boat - but you have to ride a boat and discover the Grand Canal !
It's Magic, anytime of the Year, the moment ....

Venice is a hit and miss depending on the weather, the smell of the water, and the high tide. There are areas that are overflow with water, canals that smell awful, and tons of tourist.

Despite all this, you can still get lost wondering around. You will run into an unexpected happening bar, a great little restaurant, and a wonderful small coffee shop with pastries.

got to Venice very early in the morning so i got my fill before the crowds, bargained for a gondola ride , visited few churches got a bite to eat, strolled some of narrowest streets. It's easy to get lost-be very careful fed the pigeon. Great day
