“It's the real deal.”
Reviewed November 11, 2013

You've looked at it in pictures and movies all of your life. Now you have an opportunity to see it in person. It's everything you'd hoped for and more. Much more.

It is life in Venice.

Blah, blah, blah, blah, blah. I can't say anything more than anyone else except this: Get up early one morning and walk around Venice before anyone else gets out of bed. It was the best time I had in Venice and I got some awesome pictures of the canal and streets before the congestion kicked in. It was the time I will remember most.

“Absolutely stunning!!!”
Reviewed November 11, 2013 via mobile

A vaporetto down the Grand Canal is a must and its interesting to do it at different times of the day to see the lights and shades on the uber impressive buildings. One can only imagine what Venice must have been like in its hey dey. Decay never looked so beautiful

“Expensive but beautiful”
Reviewed November 11, 2013

We visited in October. The weather was good to us at an ideal 22 and partly cloudy. Just right for sight seeing. Very expensive for everything. Buy a Vaparetto pass for however long you are there as each single trip costs 8 EUR. Not many places to sit and rest, very few benches etc so tiring. Lots of tourists and lots to see. Very walkable, lots of steps and bridges. Everything expensive but more so near to St Marks.

“The Grand Heart of Venice”
Reviewed November 10, 2013

The Grand Canal, the Heart of Venice, branching into smaller canals that weave through the city of Venice. It's the gateway to everywhere you need to go, including places like Murano and Burano. It's very busy during the day, with vehicles of different types everywhere. And yet, that's part of the reality and excitement! We loved being on the canal and seeing so many historical sites, and would LOVE to go again sometime!

“Awesome”

Just Beautiful. The entrance by ship was amazing. The museums, businesses, gondolas, St. Marks square, all really special. I wish I could stay for months!
