A great place to have a drink and snacks if there will be some. We took a prosecco for only 0,90€ and a small plate of snacks for only 1,60€ and went out to sit at the enbankment. So, 5€ for two! In Venice! Definitely worth visiting.

It may not'look' much yet the service is great and the prices well....I could barely believe my eyes as a first time visitor to Venice!

Had read about this place and really fancied it before heading to Venice on holiday. Half expecting it to disappoint!

It didn't! We had a great relaxed lunch here

It is mainly a local spot although there are a few wise tourists too.

The ciccheti are excellent and able washed down by a small glass of wine. There is a good choice of both cicchetii and wine and the prces are terrific too - doubt you get better value in Venice.

4 ciccheti and two small glasses of wine for €5.80 and I think I went for the expensive wine!

They do not have seating so you have to eat sitting at the canal but that is part of the pleasure of the place and what better outdoors to enjoy than venetian canal side.

This place comes highly recommended.

Want to experience Venice like the locals? Visit this place. Most drinks, small glasses of wine, are under 2 Euros and the cichetti are just as cheap and good. Grab a couple of these and sit by the steps by the canal. You'll be one of many local students and after work people enjoying the food, wine and view.

This was next door to our hotel and we saw a long line of locals waiting so we knew that if this is where the locals went then it must be good! And it sure was! Can't go wrong with 69 cent wine and €1 for a sandwich. Possibly one of the best sandwiches we had in Venice. We stopped by every day that we were in Venice to get our sandwich and wine fix =)
