“Delicious food, good location”
Reviewed October 31, 2013

We ate here twice during our stay in Venice. The food was delicious and the service was great. On our first visit we were given complimentary sparkling wine and on the second visit the chef cooked something at our request. Lovely atmosphere sitting outside under the canopy. Would definitely recommend.

“Just what we wanted”
Reviewed October 14, 2013

We've visited this restaurant on previous breaks in Venice and found the food and atmosphere just right - not pretentious but not too basic. Handily placed just a few minutes from the rail station and bus terminal (near our hotel in Lista di Spagna) which was a good basis for a subsequent walk into the heart of the city for the evening. Each of our trips to Venice has been at the end of the season so you can expect hospitality to be starting to wear a bit thin among the locals but we found the opposite at Pedrocchi. We just wanted simple food - pizza and a good wine and were not disappointed. Went twice in three nights this time and enjoyed both. Due to weather, we went inside and the atmosphere was very pleasant. WiFi was good - we each were given a 30 minute voucher (WiFi is everywhere in Venice now due to fibre optic installation throughout). Will go again.

“Great veal chop”
Reviewed October 12, 2013

The waiters were great and very friendly. I had a pizza (too big) and my husband had a Veal chop that he said was the best ever. The service was fast, but not at all intrusive. Loved it!

“Venice - Ristorante Pedrocchi - Pretty good for a quick stop and a beer.”
Reviewed October 9, 2013

We strolled through this area of Venice killing time before heading for the port to join a cruise so we weren't after anything special at all. In fact our friends needed a wifi connection and we chose this place through convenience other than any other specific reason. We sat outside and were immediately served with the waiter very friendly and helpful. We only had drinks which was not a problem at all and for about half an hour we sat and people watched. The wifi connection was good and the beer reasonably priced considering what I was expecting on my first day in Venice. There was no hassle from the staff who in fact looked after us very well and were very helpful when discussing the ins and outs of the city. So well done guys. We didn't have any food so cannot comment on this but would say we were made to feel extremely welcome and sitting in the sun outside was a great initiation into the city.

“Wifi offering an expensive drawing card”
Reviewed October 5, 2013 via mobile

On our way to S.Marcs square but needed to find a spot with wifi. Reeled in by the service provider recommending it as an option. Wifi very hard to connect to. Steak was a very, very thin slice if beef was okay but very minimal. Pasta with pesto was very tasty. Okay overall but a one time option.
