Enjoy a real Italian restaurant away from the Venice crowds and without the tourist price tag. After wandering through the boatyard and up the stairs, we enjoyed some house Prosecco while they finished setting up the patio and opened the restaurant. The menu itself is simple but the best option is to go with the house recommendation and what they had fresh. The octopus salad was the best we had in Venice and since fresh clams were on the menu, we asked if they could serve vongole as a main.
The restaurant was full of locals and if you want a romantic place to eat home cooked food, watch the sunset and gondoliers practicing in the lagoon. Definitely worth going back to in Venice.
