We ended up here by accident when looking for 'La Mistra' (which used to occupy these premises - about time we got a more up-to-date guidebook!). It takes a bit of finding, but is absolutely worth it, with a wonderful view from on-high over the lagoon - and the crowds of locals (always a good sign) clearly agreed. The welcome was friendly, and the food (mostly simply-prepared fish) excellent. My grilled razor-clams were scrumptious, and my wife was in quiet ecstasy over her spaghetti vongole (a dish she's had a hundred times before, but never quite as simply tasty as this). Will certainly be heading back here on our next trip to Venice.
