“Canal view”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed September 13, 2013

We loved our stay. Fabio and his father are lovely people.
Our room was bright and fresh with high ceilings. We had view of a canal from our room through each window. There is a church directly across the bridge. The grand canal only a few minutes away.
Our bathroom was very modern as was our room.
Other reviewers have said breakfast was basic but there is a supermarket a minute from the apartment so if you need anything extra it is no problem.
We found a wine store that filled our water bottle with a very drinkable red for a Euro.
I left my seeing glasses and they kindly forwarded them on to me.
There is only a little sign on the door so make sure you have your map with you the first time.
Would definitively recommend staying here.

Room Tip: pop into Metropole hotel on grand canel nearest to this B n B and have a drink there..very memorable

We were surprised that this was merely a flat that had been made into a B & B but had a lovely stay. Our room included a private, but separate bath. I'm not sure, but I think the others had a shared, separate bath. The view out of our window was classic Venice. It's close to St. Mark's and major water bus stops yet very tucked away and quiet (until morning deliveries begin to local businesses). Also, a/c was a definite plus. The family that runs it are lovely people. "Breakfast" consisted of a packaged roll, maybe yogurt and make it yourself coffee...kind of a bummer. Overall, I'd recommend this as a place to sleep. No frills but clean and safe and priced right.

Lovely little B&B, great location close to St Marks but in a spot which makes you feel like a local for a few days. Decent clean rooms with air con and friendly service from the owners (in broken English, but that's much better than our Italian!). Sitting on the step outside drinking fizzy wine in the sun was nice and the canal view from the room too.

Only complaint would be breakfast - very simple, no choice but coffee decent.

Would stay here again - especially for the price in Venice.

Only two rooms in a home (no sign) on a canal the far side of San Marco beyond the tourist zone. Reasonably priced (for Venice). Looking out our bedroom window was so romantic! Our host was very gracious and helped us find our way around this city where it's so easy to get lost.

This was a great B&B it was spotlessly clean and had very lovely and helpful owners. The location is spot on, close to main sights such as St Marks, but far enough away from the tourist hoards for it to feel romantic and relaxing. It was also extemely well priced considering the cost of some accomodation in Venice! There are also some great little local restaraunts close by, but there was a kitchen you could use to make coffee etc. This would be a particuarly good place for a family or group of firends as the main part of the B&B (there is a separate appartement) has just 3 rooms.

It is located near San Marco, very convinient location. We booked a two-bedroom suite, and it is beyond our expectation. Clean rooms, a large kitchen and a nice view. Georgio, father of Fabio, is a very helpful and warmhearted old man, though his English is not quite good. We had a very good time in Venice, and it is one of the best places I ever stayed in in Italy. Thank you, Geogior!

This B&B is perfectly situated, so it is easy to get to all the sites. Giorgio and Renata were very hospitable and always ready to help. The rooms are clean and spacious and worth the cost, not that it is expensive. Would really recommend it to anyone!
