We stayed here for one night during our recent anniversary trip. It was a splurge as it was very expensive. This hotel was wonderful. We had a very large room, it was so lovely. Aqua Palace is very close to St Marks Square. The breakfast was very good. One thing, I know we've all heard it and I wish I had listened to everyone, do not take the "free ferry ride" to Murano. You get a free ride to the island but you are on your own upon return unless you spend quite a bit at the glass makers. We were there on the weekend of a boat race and the Grand Canal was shut down. It took us quite a while to get back to the hotel. All and all, Aqua Palace is wonderful for a special night and what night isn't special in Venice?

We stayed just for one night in this hotel. We were family of three and to get a decent spacious hotel room for three in Venice was quite a task. Luckily we found this and we were just blown away by the size of this hotel room. So spacious and very nicely decorated , huge bathroom. King bed and a day bed for our daughter. Breakfast wAs awesome and the staff in dining hall was just too friendly and helpful.
The view was great from our room and from the balcony Of common living room.
The location wAs great close to San Marco and Rialto bridge .highly recommended hotel. Money well spent !

Tucked away as most things are here the hotel was excellent. We stayed on the 4th floor which was built in to the attic, great features, the room also had its own small terrace, great for breakfast in the room. Only down side was main breakfast room/bar area was small and dark but that's not what you go there for. Shop around for some great deals for this hotel as they are out there although you do get what you pay for here.

Room Tip: If there's 2 of you then room 406 is fab.

Worth the price - it was one of the two hotels we decided to splurge on for our 6 week family holiday and it was worth it. Lovely rooms, very spacious. Great location - just in the middle of everything and came up to it on a water taxi - very cool (although very expensive). Great breakfast and a lovely lady in charge of the breakfasts! We had a great view of the canal from one of our rooms - only negative was we would hear the boats come early morning to pick up the garbage collection - so that is the only negative - otherwise great and great service.

When my wife decided to book this hotel, I looked at the price and thought this had better be a good hotel, and it turned out to be better than my expectations for a hotel in Europe! We have room 204 and it was a junior suite which comfortably fitted us and our son with 2 huge luggages amongst other hand carrys. The beautiful room was facing the canal and the morning view is breathtaking.

The only issue is the pretty long walk (not actually that long but felt like eons with 2 huge luggage and 2 handcarrys in a Venice summer), which would not be a problem if we had paid 100 Euros to have a taxi take us straight from the Grand Canal outside the train station. A 14 Euro trip for the ACTV ride with probably 10-15 mins walk with the luggages seemed a more economical idea to me then (even now actually) if you have the time to spare, and don't mind walking 3-4 flights of stairs up/down bridges along the way.

Breakfast and service staff were impeccable and the hotel receptionists were very friendly as well.

The hotel is well located in the centre of Venice and most attractions are within 5-10 mins by foot.

Thumbs up and will be back again for sure!
