As a family of 6, we booked two rooms, with the first room being a suite with 2 large rooms with a king bed and a fold out sofa. The bathroom was small in the suite, for 4 people, but the bathroom in the second room, which was a king for two people, was larger with a nice double vanity and larger shower. We had plenty of space to comfortably accommodate all of us in the two rooms... and although they weren't connected, they were side by side. The hotel was quiet and in a very quiet part of the city. We were a five minute walk from the train station, but when we arrived we used a water taxi (60 euro) to take us very close to the hotel, because we had a lot of luggage. On our return to the train station, they called a porter for us that helped us transport the luggage back to the train station (35 euro plus tip - we had 6 moderate size suitcases). I think there were 2 small bridges and one large bridge to traverse to get back to the station.
The hotel seemed to be about a 15 min walk to the major areas.
The staff was friendly. Breakfast was limited, but satisfactory. It was a good value for the two rooms that we needed.

This hotel is in a quiet location but so near to everything you would visit, all main attractions are within walking distance. We stayed in the Casanova apartment next to the hotel. We only stayed four nights but could have stayed longer, the apartment was beautiful. All the staff were very helpful and advised us where to eat and how to get to the main attractions. We purchased a 24 hr boat pass, this was such fun, someone told us to visit Lido which no one had mentioned before, I think people were keeping it a secret.

Room tip: Casanova apartment perfect, fridge, kitchen, large shower room and bedroom

This was our first hotel in Italy and a great start to the holiday. Tucked away from the crowds through the winding streets of Santa Croce, it is a hidden gem. We had a cream room which was beautiful and spacious. The staff were super helpful too.

We stayed here for one night at the start of our tour of Italy. The room we stayed in was the red one. It was a nicely displayed room and of a good size.
It was perfectly located for us as we were travelling via the train station (it was a ten minute walk). My only criticism is that for the room price i would have expected a better breakfast selection.

Venice was our first stop on our first trip to Italy. We arrived around 11:00am after traveling all day & night, check in was not until 2:00. We were able to use the lobby restroom to freshen up. They stored our luggage and contacted us when our room was ready early. Our room was beautiful and clean, the bathroom was marble and spacious. The complimentary breakfast was delicious with meats, cheeses, boiled eggs, pastries, yogurt, cereal and coffee made to your liking. The staff was very friendly and helpful with advice on directions and places to see. It was in walking distance to the train station and about 20 min walk to St. Mark's square. We loved the area it was located in with shops and restaurants nearby and a grocery with inexpensive wine and water and any other needs we had.
