“Solid Greek/Lebanese food!”
Reviewed July 22, 2013 via mobile

After having spent 2 weeks in Italy, at this point, and having a conversation with my hubby that went something like this "what are the chances we could find a vegetarian Meditteranean restaurant here in Venice" we happened upon this place and enjoyed our meal very much( they do serve meat as well btw)! We got a bunch of sides, including falafel, hummus, spinach pie, and everything was delicious and had really interesting flavors. A many mentioned before, it was a nice break from Italian food! Expensive, yes, but when you sit down with the owners of these places and hear about all the taxes and fees they have to pay to the corrupt politicians you start to understand the struggle of the average Italian business owner. The woman who co-owns this place, a tall, regal goddess Greek, was very sweet and turned us on to a new jazz artist Nils Landgren, which played on the speakers during our lunch. It was a great experience and I would highly recommend!

“Awesome flavors”
Reviewed June 23, 2013

This little place in the Freri neighborhood (near the little bridge by the church) has great choices for vegetarians and omnivores. We knew we had a gem when we ordered the vegetarian appetizer sampler and each item was better than the one we just oohed over before it. Their tzatziki is made from both sheep and goat yogurt and was the best we have ever had. We also had the vegetarian version of the Jordanian rice which had so many different nuts, seeds, veggies and flavors that we ate it in tiny bites to savor it all. You won´t be disappointed. Since there aren´t many options for vegetarians in Venice beyond simple pasta or pizza, this was a real treat.

“Different, organi food and choice for vegetarians”
Reviewed June 16, 2013

The food served here is Greek and middle eastern, they apparently use only organic food grown in and around venice, which i thought was great. They had plenty of vegetarian choices. the Food was decent/ good , after eating plenty of pastas and pizza this is just the different option that you need and probably the only one available in venice. the Lady who manages the place was very nice and affable ( well read as well) and wonderful to converse with and told us a lot of great snippet on venice. i would recommend this to anyone who wants to have a change of cuisine in Venice

“Amazing!”
Reviewed June 3, 2013

After walking around Venice for a few hours, we happened across this great restaurant serving all of our Greek and mid-east favorites. We were a bit leery as to whether this little restaurant could deliver, but it did! Absolutely delicious!
