After having spent 2 weeks in Italy, at this point, and having a conversation with my hubby that went something like this "what are the chances we could find a vegetarian Meditteranean restaurant here in Venice" we happened upon this place and enjoyed our meal very much( they do serve meat as well btw)! We got a bunch of sides, including falafel, hummus, spinach pie, and everything was delicious and had really interesting flavors. A many mentioned before, it was a nice break from Italian food! Expensive, yes, but when you sit down with the owners of these places and hear about all the taxes and fees they have to pay to the corrupt politicians you start to understand the struggle of the average Italian business owner. The woman who co-owns this place, a tall, regal goddess Greek, was very sweet and turned us on to a new jazz artist Nils Landgren, which played on the speakers during our lunch. It was a great experience and I would highly recommend!
