This restaurant is very special. Chef Gianni offers the most creative and innovative cuisine you can find in Venice these days. His dishes have their foundations in the traditional Venetian cuisine, but the flavor combinations are different and exquisite, the colors are beautiful, the preparation simple yet stunning. You can see the extreme care gone in choosing the best ingredients, and assembling them together so that perfection is achieved. This is food artistry at its best. I would be remiss not mentioning the courteous service and the high level of personal attention that every customer receives - including my picky teenager vegetarian daughter, who will not eat out elsewhere in Venice.
The Ridotto is on the expensive side, but it is worth every euro.
