“Great meal, lovely owners”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed April 2, 2013 via mobile

We had to wait for a table. A good sign. Great local seafood, fresh, and well prepared. We had the gnocchi di mare, seafood salad, fetucchine with shrimp and zucchini, a pitcher of house wine, and a delightful tiramisu. Run by a delightful husband and wife team, who make you comfortable. One of the best meals in Venice.

“Reasonable food, reasonable price”
3 of 5 bubbles Reviewed April 1, 2013 via mobile

There's really nothing special about this place. We stopped for a quick lunch and shared a pizza, which was fine. I also ordered a caffe latte, which was served in a half pint glass.. Service waa reasonable, but hardly 'service with a smile'!

“Good food for a reasonable price”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed March 17, 2013 via mobile

We found this place through Rick Steves' guide book. It did not disappoint. We had a large group, 16, of mostly high school students, and we completely filled the inside tables. Good thing we got there early, as several others stopped by while we were eating, only to see that there were no tables available.

I had pizza, and my wife had a pasta dish. By ordering different items and sharing, we were able to try more options. We did this throughout the trip, and it was a good way to expand our eating experience. The food here was very good. The service was great. We all had a wonderful time.

“A great find for a great lunch”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed October 10, 2012 via mobile

Off the main tourist route, this little osteria was a welcome place for lunch. Food was excellent and the service very friendly (isn't it great when the waiter lets you practise your stumbling Italian rather than just cutting in in English straight away!). Pizza, plate of delicious mixed cold meats, pasta and plenty of good house red wine for 2 at a cost of €40 -very good value. Well worth spending the time to search for this place.

“Quick lunch, excellent value”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed October 3, 2012

Rather than a quick sandwich on the move we enjoyed a sit down outside with a great plate of seafood and a glass of local wine. The cost was not that different to a sandwich on the hoof, so a great quick lunch stop.
