We were placed here by a conference and were very pleasantly surprised. We stayed 6 nights and had no wish to move. Although apparently an active convent, our room was spacious, with a new ensuite bathroom and a glass door opening onto a large flowery courtyard or cloister, part of secret Venice that you never glimpse from the outside.
There's a kitchen where people store their own breakfast and snack food, but you mustn't cook real meals there.
The only "service" we received (or expected) was opening the outside door and making our beds.
It's a short walk to Ca' Rezzonico vaporetto stop, or the other way to Zattere. Can't beat the location, especially for avoiding the crowds.More
