Not à restaurant per se, more like à wine bar really where you can eat great ciccheti for 1€ each, with meat, cheese or fish, we tasted more than 12 of them and they ranged from real good to oh-my-god awesome. Wine is nice too, you can purchase bottles if you want to bring back a souvenir, they seem to have hundreds if them, from a few euros to à few hundred euros. You can eat inside or just outside, but eating while sitting on tjs bridge is frowned upon. You can order a sandwich if you prefer, I watched, amazed, the grandma behind the counter prépare several of them, slicing the prosciutto and cheese herself with the skill and speed of someone who has done that all her life... Great place, very cheap indeed for Venice. Btw no toilets.
