Decided to visit this restaurant based on the reviews. Decided that it might be a good choice to try some simple venetian food such ad livers venetian style. And boy did I hit the jack pot. The liver dish was superb. My wife had a creamy simple yet excellent carbonara. Yes, the food was simple but the delivered dishes were outstanding. So in a town famous for tourist traps, this delivers the real deal at very reasonable prices.

This was the best meal we had in Venice!!!! Someone from our hotel recommend this restaurant and it was amazing. We had the pumpkin gnocchi, mixed grilled fish and the strawberry Panna cotta it was all to die for!

Was not planning to write a review, but was shocked by the incredibly poor level of "customer service" in this place.

We came to the restaurant having quite high expectations after we read so many positive reviews on Tripadvisor, but, unfortunately, we didn't like the menu and decided to leave for another place. Such situations happen - don't have any bad or good feelings about this, but what was shocking is the reaction of the personnel! When we were already on the street and we're discussing where else we should go, a waitress from this place came to us and accused us in being impolite to her by leaving the restaurant?! She asked us for apologies?! And in addition to these strange statements, she made a number of offensive / insulting nationality-based remarks towards us...

Big disappointment that such a place is so highly rated on Tripadvisor

We had a really nice dinner here. Whilst the good wasn't cheap then you get what you pay for.

It is, as others have stated, a hidden gem. If you didnt have a firm idea where it was you would only ever find this place be sheer accident.

The service was excellent, very tasty wine and beautifully presented food. I think it had a little more style than substance in truth, however, the food was awefully stylish indeed. I had pumpkin and prawn gnochi which was stunning in appearance. For the main I had orange sea breem, the orange sauce was a marvel but, I felt, slightly over powered the delicate fish. That all said the meal was of a very high standard.

Hidden away in the backstreets we found this place, luckily we booked as it only caters for a small crowd and the place was full.
We had the pumpkin gnocchi with scampi and zucchini flowers and the dish was sensational with great base flavour of shellfish.
The Tuscan lamb grill was simple yet delicious with the lamb cooked well with a light herb and oil marinade.
We were temped into desert because of what we saw at the table next to us and went with the strawberry panacotta. The panacotta just held itself together and the strawberry sauce was fresh made.
Overall great visit
