What a surprise it was for us to find this restaurant. We booked it for having dinner after our concert at La Fenice. We were supposed to arrive at 10pm,but due to the concert finishing later than planed, arrived only at 10:30. We thought the kitchen would be closed, but at our surprise, were welcomed. We have a good dinner with simple food very well cooked with great ingredients. The tomato-mozzarella was great, as were our lamb and prawns. As we were the last ones to stay in the restaurant, we started a discussion with Paulo, the restaurant manager. he explained us the great history of the restaurant, gave us a lot of information on the city and show us around the restaurant were art is all over the walls. So a place to go in Venice, together with Il Ridotto and Ostaria Boccadoro.
