We were pleasantly surprised with our dinner here; yes, it's in a touristy spot, and the laminated multi-lingual menus didn't appeal to us. But it was our last night in Venice, and we were tired of being gouged by the so-called high-end, but mediocre restaurants, so we dashed into this place with our kids at the end of a long day. Simple dishes, but hearty, we had a nice conversation with our waiter who was one of the former owners, but it was recently sold to another local family, so he was helping with the transition. Great pasta & pizza meal, reasonably priced [for Venice!] and it was a short walk from our hotel & St. Mark's. Hit the spot for our family, but don't expect anything fancy.
